Good One,
Albury Council [or, AlburyCity].
According to
the Saturday classifieds, AlburyCity [or Albury Council] has moved the planned
‘Fuel Facility and Signage’ Community Forum from Monday 5/12/2011 to a new
date, 6/2/2012.
Maybe
someone has looked at the name of the month and thought that the previous plan
might not be a good time for community convenience? Maybe some members of the public would be unable to attend? The timing has not been discussed in
Council, so I assume this is an ‘operational’ decision made by the General
Manager.
If
AlburyCity is making an effort to ensure the public can more easily be engaged
in community issues, then that is a good one.
[Faint
praise? Look at the new public exhibitions and note the closing dates. I hope
AlburyCity can keep up the momentum to do better in communication – better than
this.]
